Joe and I took a much needed vacation in May. First we attended Claire and John's wedding in Appleton, WI which was ironically a stone throw from Joe's parents home. Next we went to Kansas to visit Grandma Hammeke and a handful of Joe's Aunts and Uncles. From what I was told I passed the test and was welcomed into the family. Next we spent a few days in Omaha where Joe is from originally. I was able to meet several of his friends and see where he grew up. My cousin Justine, her two twin girls and new fiance drove down to enjoy a day at the Omaha zoo. Lastly, we drove back to Wisconsin to see Joe's immediate family and spend our last day with uncle Tom and Aunt Sharon.

Coach time has become my favorite part of the day. I only get an hour or two to enjoy this time but it shared with some of my favorite things in life; Janet, Sam, Osa, Mojo, Wine, cheese and Chocolate!
Well, its that time of year again when I decided to embark on new things or restart things I never completed or kept up with....hence starting up blogging again.
Finals are over. I have a cold but enjoying the fact I dont have to do anything but watch t.v. eat soup and snuggle with the dogs. I'll get around to house cleaning, craft making and other stuff in a few days.
Right now its just me and the snuggle bugs
I know its shocking but we can clean up pretty nice
The sunsets were beautiful
Ola the tiger. It cost Joe $20 for him and I to hold him. I thought it was totally worth it.
Coping a cheap feel
Hmm....something other than ship food.
I gave the iguana kisses
Feeding the iguana beer. They really liked Joe!
We Kayaked to the end of those rocks. The water was fairly rough. We snorkeled there too. There were lots of boats in the water. Once actually hit me in the head. Besides being crowded and rough, it was a great snorkel and Kayak excursion. Joe and i both held a puffer fish that our tour guide caught. Unfortunatly, we do not have a picture of us holding it.

I've decided to keep a blog about Joe and I. Mainly for our families but more so for us to rant and rave about our two furry kids as well as share our travels with our families and friends.
