First we attended Claire and John's wedding in Appleton, WI which was ironically a stone throw from Joe's parents home. Next we went to Kansas to visit Grandma <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Hammeke</span> and a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">handful</span> of Joe's Aunts and Uncles. From what I was told I passed the test and was welcomed into the family. Next we spent a few days in Omaha where Joe is from originally. I was able to meet several of his friends and see where he grew up. My cousin Justine, her two twin girls and new fiance drove down to enjoy a day at the Omaha zoo. The water was fairly rough. We snorkeled there too. There were lots of boats in the water. Once actually hit me in the head. Besides being crowded and rough, it was a great snorkel and Kayak excursion. Joe and i both held a puffer fish that our tour guide caught.
